Its high tensile strength bridges cracks and disperses stress across a wider area, preventing localised failure. The netting's inherent chemical stability-resistance to acids, alkalis, and other corrosive substances-ensures it maintains its reinforcing properties even in the harsh environment of a farm washing area. The open mesh structure allows for excellent bonding with the mortar, creating a unified composite layer that moves with the substrate and resists cracking under mechanical stress.

 

The application process is straightforward and field‑proven. The concrete surface must be cleaned thoroughly-remove all grease, manure residue, and loose material. A base layer of acid‑resistant mortar is then troweled onto the prepared surface. The netting mesh is immediately pressed into the wet mortar, with adjacent sheets overlapped by at least 10 cm to ensure continuity of reinforcement. A second mortar layer is applied to completely encapsulate the mesh. The mesh should be fully saturated with mortar-no wrinkles, no exposed fibres.
